Awesome content Anet! Loved every second of it, even the first few wipes XD

The Doubleblades are ridiculous, as are the oppressor weapons. Really cool stuff.

I picked up and completed today's wanted by the shining blade quest after completing the battle. You can still do WIK bounties.

Good to hear. Do the zones contain all the usual mantle mobs, or just the one target group?

No random mantle mobs. If anything it will make doing all the Bounties in hard mode easy to do daily.

Just finished the quest. Agree that for normal mode PvE that it was intense. I think one time through is enough for me. Great fun though.

Minty. I'd best do the WiK finale on all my chars then, make it easier to (eventually) get a mini-Livia to complete my Blade set.

On the other hand, I figure the mantle mini's are going to get a lot more difficult to find... I haven't got any of those so far. Maybe I should NOT complete the WiK on one or two chars...

Both zones had the usual WIK spawns that I went through while I had the bounty.

Going back through Black Curtain after completing the bounty however, there were no WIK spawns. That's the change.

Finished the mish on NM

PANIC IS VERY USEFUL!!!!! That and with constant casting ether nightmare and CoP, I could clear out most non-jade groups.

I had a blast playing the quest on my mesmer, going to try and get some alliance members to beat hm for the hell of it.

I'm disappointed with the new spear skin, I was hoping it would actually match my paragon's gold/white armor cause you know... these are from the WHITE MANTLE, but nooo, they have to go and put silver and RED on it. =(

Thanks for the info.

I've got about 70 medals in storage from all the Royal Gifts I opened and the quests... so I'm now looking forward to seeing screenies of the Oppressor and Commemorative weapons.

Here's the spear, scythe and daggers.



The little red bit glows, and on the spear the scythe it moves a little bit and leaves and dim red trail when you move, kind of like the scepter or orr.

Also, while not only big and clunky, the spear is apparently totally unaffected by dye while the other 2 are not.
